Description

On warm sunny days, these ground plants open their flowers to receive the sun. The pink pigface mingles with the yellow flowers, like friends, producing a beautiful array of colours. Yes, friendship is beautiful, and to be treasured while it lasts

I didn't do much to this picture - however, I felt the need to fixed up the blurred petal in the foreground, and remove some random spots that appeared on the photo.

How have I missed your gallery? The colors in this piece makes me happy. I actually like that splash of yellow in the top right corner. Draws me back into the image.

Thanks again for your comment. . . I changed the photograph into an "Illusion", but I didn't know how I could do without having the couple doubled. .. or the tile effect, and I didn't want to mess it up too much. . . There is still so much for me to figure out with all this new stuff.

This is beautiful. Exposure is just right. I agree thast composition is good. I like the highlights and shadows in the yellow flower.

this is beautiful, although I think it would be better if you didn't crop the yellow one, I think it is great to see the yeloow one too if you were aiming for the friendship they share...

but I think this is an excellent work with nice colours and the exposure is just right.

The colours are beautiful, as are you DOF and definition. I like best the smart composition - your brighter subject offset out of the pic, so it doesn't 'outshine' or off-balance the deeper colour.
